Jim Schweigert

Jim Schweigert is this year’s recipient
of Seed World’s Future Giant of the
Industry award. Since joining Gro
Alliance in 2003, he has held the
positions of Client Operations Manager,
Director of Business Development, and
his current post as Vice President of
Business Development, where he manages
client relationships, contracting and
pricing for the company. His background
includes growing up in the family
business where he worked in both the
field and facility aspects. Schweigert
founded the American Seed Trade
Association’s Future Seed Executives
initiative in 2005, serves as the chair
of ASTA’s Management Skills Committee,
and will serve as ASTA’s Vice President
to Canada beginning in 2009. |
