While many seed companies are following the trend to merge, we
see this as becoming less cost efficient and less focused on
our main job of providing the best possible products and
services for our customers and growers.
One of our primary strategies will be to very actively
pursue partnerships with like-minded, independent, aggressive
companies around the world, as well as in Brazil to complement
our breeding program for Brazilian products. We will
concentrate on forming long-term working relationships, based
both on brand and individual products. With these partners, we
will have access to top-of-the-line genetics that will enable
us to compete with anything that is on the market. Working
hand in hand with our suppliers, we have developed a very
aggressive trialing program that gets results. Our IT
department has developed an in-house software program that
catalogs all samples and results, keeping our suppliers
informed continuously of the progress, future and development
of their genetic material.
