How does APSA
work with national seed associations in Asia/Pacific and
beyond, with other regional associations such as EDA, AFSTA,
etc., and with the International Seed Federation?
|
 |
APSA has all
the National Seed Associations in this region as its members
and we work collectively with them.
Together, APSA and the national seed associations address
regulatory issues with the national governments and make
efforts to help the seed industry. Seventeen such associations
are APSA members, and APSA is endeavouring to promote the
creation of national seed associations in other countries.
In addition, we also interact
frequently with other regional seed associations such as
AFSTA, FELAS and EDA.
APSA, AFSTA and FELAS have identified
some common issues faced by the seed industry in three
continents. Efforts are in progress to jointly address those
issues. APSA also interacts with other regional associations
in jointly working on issues of common interest. |
