For the most part,
most of our clients understand what our tests can tell them
regarding seed quality and many utilize the information quite
well.There are some companies that still see little value
in some seed quality testing, especially seed health testing.
They test because they have to or because of an unfair
regulation of trade, and they cannot look beyond the expense
of the test.
Realistically, seed quality testing can be used to improve
seed production practices and make a better product. Seed
quality testing is an audit of the seed production practices
and the seed producer should use any procedural audit for
future product improvement!
