Drew KINDER - President - American Seed Trade Association February 2002
What important lessons have you learned during your years in the seed industry?
The old cliché "the customer is always right" was drilled into my head as a sales and marketing professional. But this adage rings true in all aspects of business.

The greater your customer’s satisfaction, the greater your company’s brand recognition and sales. Creating more value for the customer is the most important thing one can do in seed business today. Maintaining the status quo is not good enough.

Moreover, bringing enthusiasm and passion to work almost always leads to success. It is easier to sell products, services, and ideas when you believe in them and let customers and employees know it.
