The future
is bright for family businesses in the seed industry. People
buy seeds on trust. Who better to trust than the grandson of
the man whose name is on every bag? Some of our industry
leaders are family businesses, I believe that they will
continue to grow.I recommend
to our third generation that they join our business. I
wouldn't recommend a dead end to them, and I believe we have
an exciting future.
Family businesses just need to
maximize the inherent strengths of the family business and to
minimize the inherent weaknesses. That is why we need to study
the texts on this science, so that we know what both lists
include.
