The importance of the flower seed industry is easy to understand in wealthy countries where consumers have much disposable income. Please tell us why it is just as important for less affluent countries and consumers.
Flowers are a very natural way of making us feel better. A brightly flowering plant adds joy and happiness to our surroundings, and this is important no matter what our socio-economic status.

Having said that, flowers are also a luxury that must come after the necessities of life, such as food and housing, are taken care of.

Our largest markets will continue to be the more developed countries, but there are tremendous opportunities in developing nations.

Growing flowers on a small scale can be done quite easily with a certainly amount of training, and will therefore provide a means of economic gain to people in less developed areas.
