SunPrime
aims to improve the pace at which wheat breeders supply
Australian growers with high yielding and disease resistant
wheat varieties that also meet the requirements of today’s
increasingly demanding domestic and international markets.
It will be grain growers, through their
ongoing purchases of seed, who will decide Australia’s most
successful wheat breeding company in the years to come – there
won’t be much future for any breeding company that release
varieties that don’t meet the needs of both growers and
end-users. |
