Another lesson is
that contrary to politics, where the majority is winning, in
agriculture minority is a true winner: if you fail to
execute even a small step in the chain of the production you
may lose the whole crop.
Besides, you can fool
people, communities, countries maybe, but you can never fool
a living plant.
