about these courses you offer, who the target audience is, and
how the course participants benefit from attending. |

We offer a course
on Seed Biology, Production and Quality that is targeted
toward professionals in the seed and related industries. This
intensive 2-day course presents both basic seed science and
its application to seed production, handling, storage and
utilization. It is a good introduction to the field for those
new to seeds, and gives an overview of the latest research
developments for experienced professionals. This course will
be offered next in February, 2003.
In November, 2002, we will offer a course on Identity
Preservation in Agricultural Production and Marketing. This
1-day course will cover the basics of identity preservation
and specific cases such as market channelling and segregation
of organic commodities and products of biotechnology. As
identity preservation is essential to achieving higher market
value, this course will be valuable to many segments of the
agricultural and food marketing industry.
We can also develop customized courses for client groups on
specific topics. This is a good way for a company to combine a
meeting of research or sales personnel, for example, with
continuing education. |
