The group of businesses comprising Germain's, IST, Seed Systems, together with the recently-acquired business, ETS, form the world's largest independent seed technology and custom coating specialists. There are now seven companies within the business, covering both North America and Europe. While it remains extremely desirable to continue to promote and capitalise on their existing, successful and reputable trading names, as from 1st March 2000, all businesses will be collectively part of a new corporate entity known as:

As well as being the umbrella organisation, GTG will also identify all corporate functions, including Research and Development, and will have a web site address of 'Global-GTG.com' which is linked to the current Group sites.

Group Managing Director, Paul Ayres, said: "The individual Operating Businesses of Germain's (UK), Germain's (Ireland), Germain's (Poland), IST Holland, IST Spain, Seed Systems and ETS will continue to trade under their respective names but will be represented by a new image and Group identity.
