This is to remind you that early bird registration for the
ISF workshop on Phytosanitary Procedures for International Seed
Trade in Antalya, Turkey will close on 6 March 2009.
The seed industry has seen restrictions on the movement of seed
across international borders grow over the past few years.
During the preparation of the Strategic Plan for ISF in 2007
phytosanitary issues were identified as one of the major
problems facing seed companies. This workshop is in response to
your call to ISF for help in this matter. It covers the most
topical and problematic procedures in getting phytosanitary
certification for seed consignments. Through their presentations
skilled persons from the industry will share their knowledge and
experience.
The workshop is aimed at persons in companies and national
associations who are responsible for the import/export of seed
and other plant material. You will find the programme and
speaker profiles on the ISF website. The congress website also
provides you a link to the web pages where you will find all the
necessary information about the workshop.
The ISF Secretariat will be happy to provide you any information
you may need on the workshop and registration. |
