Zeltex, Inc. introduces the new ZX-50SRT seed research technology analyzer
Hagerstown, Maryland
November, 2006

Zeltex, Inc., the leader in portable non-destructive whole-grain analysis, has introduced the ZX-50SRT.  This analyzer enables research in plant and seed biology with quick analysis of protein, moisture, and oil non-destructively for a single plant.  The ZX-50SRT analyzes samples as small as twenty grams, and provides you with on-the-spot analysis in less than forty seconds.  The ZX-50SRT is lightweight and completely portable, allowing analysis in the field, on the truck or in the lab.

The ZX-50SRT enables seed companies to know the potential field performance of the seed you produce, buy, or sell quickly and accurately, and most importantly, without damage to the crop.  "The ZX-50SRT enables you, the seed grower, to segregate your seeds for optimum protein/oil in the plant population", said Todd C. Rosenthal, President of Zeltex.  "In the past, protein/oil analysis had often been too costly and slow for seed companies and researchers to undertake, but now all that has changed."  The ZX-50SRT can be calibrated for wheat, corn, soybean, barley, rice, oats, canola and milo.
