INCOTEC Holding acquires Proteios

INCOTEC Holding BV announces that it has acquired PROTEIOS from Business Inception B.V. via an asset and liability transaction. PROTEIOS will continue activities at its existing facilities in Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands, under the new subsidiary PROTEIOS International B.V. i.o.

PROTEIOS, a Dutch based company is one of the leading companies globally offering biochemical genetic services to the agriculture industry including assessing genetic quality of seeds, bulbs, plants and other vegetative material.

The Managing Director of PROTEIOS Mr. Jan Tamboer states, “We are extremely exited about becoming part of the INCOTEC family. It will offer us more opportunity to promote and sell the unique services of PROTEIOS to the agriculture industry worldwide. The worldwide marketing and sales network of INCOTEC will make it possible for PROTEIOS to become active in global production areas where we had little or no activity. This transaction will also provide PROTEIOS opportunities to invest in our existing and new technologies, offering our customers the possibility of additional and/or improved services.”

The President and CEO of INCOTEC Holding B.V., Mr, JanWillem Breukink states, “The acquisition of PROTEIOS will add a completely new technology and competence to INCOTEC.
