EnviroLogix delivers next generation test to detect the use of unauthorized GM soybeans in Brazil
Portland, Maine
October 18, 2005

EnviroLogix Inc., a leading provider of analytical test kits, is pleased to announce the release of its new, next generation test to detect the use of herbicide-resistant soybeans in Brazil. Developed for a leading, multi-national, agricultural biotechnology company, the test will enable EnviroLogix's customer to collect royalties on unauthorized soybean seed grown primarily in Brazil.

This latest generation test, QuickStix(TM) Kit for RR MT, provides a clear, non-subjective determination and reduces costs in comparison to tests previously used. According to Bruce S. Ferguson, President and CEO, the improved test will make it easier for operators in the field to make rapid and objective determinations with even greater confidence and less ambiguity.

EnviroLogix develops, manufactures and markets tests for transgenic traits and mycotoxins for use in a number of crops, including soybeans, cotton, corn, and canola. EnviroLogix also develops, manufactures and markets immunoassay test kits for the food safety and water quality markets and offers custom antibody and assay development services.

EnviroLogix, the EnviroLogix logo, and QuickStix are trademarks of EnviroLogix Inc.
