ASTEC Global announced today the appointment of Mr. Herman
ter Haar as General Manager of ASTEC Operations. In this role,
Herman will be responsible for managing the different
operational units in the United States and in South Africa.
Herman ter Haar has outstanding experience in managing and
guiding companies through the different phases of their
development. Mr. ter Haar has undertaken a number of positions
which ultimately culminated in his appointment as President of
Henkel Cosmetics North America.
The former manager of ASTEC, Mr. Johan Van Asbrouck, will become
the General Manager of ASTEC Projects and will lead the many
different product enterprises (such as the successful Q2 and
MarQ products). In addition to this, Mr. Van Asbrouck will
manage all new technical development projects.
Johan Van Asbrouck successfully started ASTEC Operations in 1997
and has grown the company into a market leader for Sugar Beet
Pelleting in the US and for vegetable Seed Pelleting in South
Africa. Johan will remain responsible for all technical aspects
in the entire ASTEC group.
ASTEC Global is convinced that these changes will help the
company continue to grow further into a major role in the
International Seed Technology area, thereby providing better
service and products to all customers. |
