Germain’s Technology Group,
the world’s leading independent seed coating and enhancement
technology company, has today announced the appointment of three
new Directors who will spearhead the company’s growth in
response to a sustained demand for its products and new
technologies.
Frederick Schreurs will become Business Director for
Horticulture. He will have worldwide responsibility for making
sure all aspects of the business are co-ordinated and focused on
the rapid introduction of new technologies that benefit the
vegetable industry; whilst at the same time ensuring stringent
quality and service standards are maintained for existing
products and customers.
Véronique Heyes will become Business Director for Sugar
Beet and will have worldwide responsibility for developing and
introducing new technologies into this sector. Véronique will
also focus on expanding Germain’s technology interests in Europe
in response to the challenges being created by reform of the EU
Sugar Regime. Additionally she will take responsibility for the
co-ordination and focus of the Group in all other regions of the
world where sugar beet is grown.
Cathy Farr will become Regional Director for all
Germain’s North American interests combining the operating
businesses for sugar beet, horticulture and field crops such as
corn, cotton and soya. Cathy will work closely with Frederick
and Veronique in developing the companies long-term strategies.
Mark Wilson, the company’s Chief Executive will take
overall responsibility for co-ordinating the European operations
within the Group in addition to his other duties.
This newly appointed team will be supported by the Group’s
extensive Research and Development team. The Group’s R&D
headquarters are based in King’s Lynn in the U.K
These new appointments will help promote the company’s unaltered
commitment to creating value for the seed enhancement
industry, and ensure that Germain’s continues to deliver its
customers with new and improved technologies.
