INCOTEC offers marigold seed cleaning to reduce the presence of seed borne fungi and bacteria

Effective immediately, INCOTEC, Integrated Coating and Seed Technology, Inc., in Salinas, California offers  Marigold Cleaning (for American varieties only). 

INCOTEC’s Marigold Cleaning has a goal to reduce the presence of seed borne fungi and bacteria.  This is not a pesticide treatment, just a cleaning process. 

Gerard Denny, INCOTEC’s Integrated Product Research Specialist has been working on this project for a few years. Gerard states, “It is exciting to be able to offer a solution to the ornamental industry for improving the performance of marigold seed”.
