After a two-year internal educational process, Manteca, CA-based CelPril (a Bayer Cropscience
company), has achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certification.

According to General Manager, Boyd Hartman, ISO 9001:2000 certification assures CelPril¹s Quality Policy of customer satisfaction through continual improvement providing delivery of the highest quality products. "ISO 9001:2000 is a worldwide procedure for providing excellence," said Hartman, "in which every part of the manufacturing and delivery process follows an intricate step by step procedure that translates to providing products with high quality standards."

CelPril began its ISO 9001:2000 Certification process two years ago. The tightly defined educational process involved every CelPril employee from management to the shipping dock. Every internal process was evaluated and brought up to a tightly defined international business standard.

"Achieving ISO 9001:2000 status tells the world that CelPril has a qualified management system in place, that we have taken a look inside ourselves and our systems and have organized our company to follow a world standard for manufacturing," said Hartman. "The certification process was really quite an eye opener for most of us. The end result is that CelPril is on track for continual improvement to meet customer satisfaction."

ISO 9001:2000 Certification is awarded to companies who have proven they are organized in such a way that their company will automatically follow universal international business procedures. "ISO 9000 Certification is a very important step for CelPril," adds Hartman. "We are very proud of our team¹s dedication to this process and to their commitment to assuring delivery of the highest quality product to our customers. ISO 9000 requires every CelPril employee to be involved, to be on board and to be cognizant of the ongoing positive rewards of the process."
