ISO 9001:2000 in the UK for the Germain’s Technology Group

November 29, 2002

The Germain’s Technology Group - UK are pleased announce that their Production facility based at Hardwick Industrial Estate, King’s Lynn has become accredited to the new International Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000.

Paul Richardson, ISO coordinator for the King’s Lynn site, comments on this achievement:

‘For the past seven years, we have reaped the benefits of accreditation to the previously issued standard ISO 9002:1994. During this period our full attention was given to developing and implementing a documented system, enabling us to cultivate a philosophy of full audit accountability and promotion of a ‘zero defect’ culture.

To satisfy the new criteria, a much greater emphasis has now been placed on ‘ Continual Improvement’, ‘Customer Focusing’ and ‘Enhancement of Customer Satisfaction’. These were targets, which we had already achieved over and above the required levels of the ISO 9002 accreditation. The newly acquired standards under ISO 9001 have been achieved, thanks to a natural, yet conscious progression’.

The Germain’s Technology Group is committed to the implementation of these recognised standards of accreditation to quality systems throughout its facilities.
