Ovid, Michigan
December 9, 1998

Great Lakes Hybrids, a national seed corn company based in Ovid, Michigan, announces the addition of Jeff Reinbold as district sales manager. Reinbold will cover the lower eastern area of Michigan.

Reinbold spent 20 years in retail sales of agricultural products including seed, fertilizer, chemicals and services, with 15 of those years as a manager. He worked for Terra for 13 years prior to joining  Great Lakes Hybrids. He also spent five years at Sohigro, which was  purchased by Terra in 1985, and two years at Star of the West Milling Co.

A certified crop advisor since 1995, Reinbold grew up on a farm east of Saginaw - Reinbold Bros. - now in operation as Reinow Acres. He serves as a board member and represents the agricultural sector of the Partnership for the Saginaw Bay Watershed, an environmental program
that evolved from the EPA initiative regarding the Saginaw Bay and its rivers and tributaries and ground water issues.

Reinbold graduated from Michigan State University with certification in farm supply management. He is involved in his church, and helps coach the Frankenmuth High School varsity football team. He lives in Saginaw with his wife, Terry, and three daughters: Ryan, a high school senior; Danielle, a high school freshman; and Leah, a seventh-grader.

Great Lakes Hybrids is affiliated with KWS in Germany, a seed-only company, and has research stations in Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa and Puerto Rico. This research program has been able to produce top performing conventional genetics for incorporation of the new transgenic
traits. For the latest information, visit www.glh-seeds.com.
