PRESENT WORK

M. Sc (Ag.) project entitled "Studies on seed testing of different lots of Green gram C.V. Pusa Bold-I" in the Seed Testing Laboratory, National Seeds Corporation, New Delhi 110 012.

PRESENT STATUS

Present Duties:

Assisting with the Nodal Officer (Seeds) IARI, in distribution of funds and maintenance of all official records of different centers/ units.

Compilation of a project entitled "Centre of Excellence for Training of Professionally Qualified Persons" funded by PPV& FRA.

Assisted in PVP&FR Act sponsored training for professionally qualified persons and Farmers as per the schedule.

Raising field trails for DUS testing and applied research on DUS requirements

To organizing progressive farmer's training and on farm training for participatory seed production at farmer's field.

Seed testing (Germination test, Moisture test and Physical purity, Viability, Vigour and Seed health).

Seed coating, seed priming and seed treatment to enhance seed quality.
 

I have worked as a Technical Person since 14 January 2005 to 6 October, 2006 and assisting with Officer-on-Special Dutty under the project "Preparation of Plant Variety Protection and DUS Testing through ICAR-SAU System" at Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP).

Assigned Duties:

Digitalization of Extant – Notified Varieties (up to 1987)

Compilation of annual data of Breeder Seed Production & Seed Technology Research Programme of the AICRP-National Seed Project (Crops).

Preparation and compilation of the following annual reports/proceedings and projects proposal:

Annual Report of AICRP-National Seed Project (Crops) 2004-05.

Half yearly Report of ad-hoc project entitled "Poverty Alleviation in Tribal Areas through Adoption of Quality Seeds".

Compilation of the various project like as ICAR funded Mega Seed Project entitled "Seed Production in Agricultural Crops & Fisheries" total outlay of about approximately Rs. 200 crores. 

COMPUTER LITERACY

One year Diploma in Computer Software (DOS System, M. S. Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Visual Basic, and Microsoft Internet Explorer. etc) from CATS, College of Advance Technology & Software, Court Road, Saharanpur (UP).
