Mahyco Seeds Ltd is pioneer in Agri business of Hybrid Seeds
in India, having collaboration with MONSANTO,USA for Bt
cotton seed, R&D and marketing network. The company is
having multilocational plants all over India(Total 08
plants) with recently reduced workforce of 900 officers.
As a Territory Manager ,seed production(Center Head –
Buldhana) my responsibilities are
1) Implementation of Company’s seed production policies.
2) Achievement of alloted seed production targets with help
of field staff by contacting Farmers / villages of area and
by conducting meetings .
3) To ensure that Farmers to whom production is alloted are
quality conscious and honest in deeds.
4) Sale of Foundation seeds and doing agreement with Farmers
with fixed Procurement rate & others terms and conditions.
5) To conduct field inspetion on regular basis alloted to
the subordinate/field staff and educate the farmers for
roguing,emasculation,pollination and other seed production
techniques related to crop.
6) To suggest corrective and preventive remedies with regard
to pest and disease .
7) To ensure proper threshing,despatching of seed produce
after sealing and labellingof seed bags.
8) Submission of yield estimates to higher authority on
monthly basis.
9) Problem/Complaints solving related to seed production.
10) Keeping close rapport with Govt.Authorities like State
seed certification agency and to solve problems related to
them.
ACHIEVEMENTS :
1) Achived cost saving in various activity.
2) Increased seed production area up to 50% by maintaining
proper relationship with Farmers.
3) Achived all seed production targets as per need of
Company.
4) Increased productivity of Farmer by taking efforts
towards production planning implementation and hence turn
over of center increased.
5) Increased quality standard of seeds by proper guidance to
Farmer and field inspection at proper time.
6) Bank loans made available to seed producing farmers by
playing role of guaranter and helped Bank for 100% recovery.

As a Sr.Superwisor ( Quality Control), my responsibilities
were :
1) To maintain quality standard of Company.
2) Sampling of Seeds lots received from Farmers.
3) Conducting Grow out test,Germination test,Moisture test
and Physical purity test.
4) After passing in all above test releasing seeds for
marketing.
5) Cross checking activities of seed processing,seed
treatment,seed packing, seed storage and seed fumigation.
