Syngenta Seeds recruits a Molecular Marker Genotyping Manager
(H/F)
Position based in Saint-Sauveur, near Toulouse, France.
Job description
-
You will
manage a genotyping team of 25 people and the associated
budget associated with marker assisted breeding programs in
field crops and vegetables.

You will
work closely with breeding and genomic teams to plan the
demand, capacity and logistics to support lab customers.

You will
maintain the current genotyping platforms and implement
future platforms.

You will
be responsible for quality assessment and reporting to lab
customers.

You will
manage genotyping budgets including cost analysis and
optimization.
Required Skills and Experience
-
PhD in
associated discipline
-
At least
5 years of experience in managing analytical platforms
-
Excellent
knowledge of marker technology
-
A good
understanding of classical plant breeding and
marker-assisted plant breeding is very important
-
Strong
verbal and written communication skills are essential

Fluent in
English
