Responsibilities

Sales
 Introduce the company and product information to (potential) major downstream value chain key accounts in line with Marketing and Sales (M&S) strategy and within Nunhems to identify and define business opportunities.
 Gather all relevant information about specific needs related to the retail industry and/or industrial process in regard to the crops of the key accounts.
 Contribute to the formulation and negotiation with key accounts regarding annual contracts and concepts.

Marketing
 Provide market, price and product information in line with M&S strategy and within Nunhems in order to contribute to the formulation of the marketing and sales plan in the crop teams.
 Keep management informed about proceedings in sales and the consequences for the other departments.

Product Development
 Contribute to the breeding/trial program in line with M&S strategy and within Nunhems in order to come up with proposals regarding the assortment.
 Support Crop Teams in the introduction of new varieties thru downstream activity and identify added value in line with M&S strategy and within Nunhems in order to contribute to commercial success of new varieties.

Educational Qualifications Desired

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.

Skills and Experience Desired

• Background in agronomy preferred.

• Strong commercial experience required.

• Experience in the seed and food retail sectors (some technical experience in the FCS industry is desirable).

• Excellent communications skills required.

• Must be fluent in English.

• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
