The individual selected for this position will continue INCOTEC’s presence and competitiveness in seed applied film coating and technology based products within the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continued development of INCOTEC’s seed apllied film coat liquid market by assisting production and sales/marketing in commercialization of product through production start up and product adaption in the market place.

• Carryout research activities

• Conduct feasibilities studies

• Plan and organize experiments

• Contribute to the product management for the seed applied film coat liquid product line

• Organize and analyze trials, product concerns, quality assessment and report on these to all parties concerned

• This position reports to the V.P. Product Research located in Salinas, California

Educational Qualifications Desired

Bachelor’s Degree in biology or seed technology and seed coating technology. 5+ years related experience within the Agricultural Seed Industry, coating seeds, or seed treatment applications of pesticides.

Skills and Experience Desired

• Must have high level of interpersonal skills

• Creative, analytical and methodical thinking, self-reliant, practical approach, positive critical attitude, strives for best results.

• Must have knowledge of commercial seed treating equipment and be able to make recommendations at treating plants to optimize utility of INCOTEC’s film coat liquids

• Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

• Must have a working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multi task

• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally
