Achievement of regional sales
objectives as established in conjunction with Senior
Director, North American Sales.

Direct, coach, assist and
supervise regional Sales force.

Manage the region to maximize
profits for EMD Crop BioScience both short-term and
long-term.

Assist in developing region
and territory sales forecasts and budgets. Track these
forecasts for accuracy and make appropriate adjustments in
the area of volume, pricing and program support.

Control expenses and costs
within the region. Directly approve expense reports of sales
personnel in the region.

Promote a favorable image of
the company to the various stakeholders in a manner
consistent with company policies and procedures.

Maintain adequate distribution
and sales personnel in the region to effectively service
existing and potential customers. Make recommendations for
additions or reductions as appropriate.

Participate in sales meetings,
training programs, conventions, and trade shows as
requested.

Maintain up-to-date customer
records in accordance with company instructions, and report
all changes immediately.

Manage customer complaints in
accordance with company policy; advise management promptly
of any situations beyond his or her scope of authority.

Manage warehouse inventories
for warehouses located in the region.

Prepare and submit all reports
as required.

Advise management of
competitive products and merchandising practices.

Recommend addition,
modification, or deletion of products to/from the portfolio.

Comply with all corporate and
regulatory policies and directives.
