POSITION:
Director,
Seed Technology and Trade
 The
International Seed Federation (ISF) is a non-governmental
and non-profit organization based in Nyon, and serves as a
global forum for the world’s seed industry. Its members are
national seed associations and seed companies around the world.
To complement its current staff in the Secretariat, ISF seeks an
individual with professional experience in seed technology, seed
production and seed trade related issues.
The position is full time.
Tasks include:
- Coordination of industry
activities
- Interaction with relevant
professional organizations and intergovernmental
governmental bodies such as OECD and ISTA
Experience within the seed
industry and in public relations particularly with international
organizations is desirable. Fluency in English is necessary and
a working knowledge of other languages such as Spanish or French
would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will
report to the Secretary General.
