Central
Europe Seeds Team Leader

For our office in Budapest, Hungary, we are looking for suitable
candidate for the position of
Central Europe Seeds Team
Leader
The job incumbent will be
responsible for seed sales in Central Europe (primarily Hungary,
Austria, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia) and leading a
team of 5 employees to achieve the sales in the territory. The
role includes market development through out the territory for
corn, sunflower and oilseed rape and the establishment and
leadership of a team to meet the goals and opportunities for a
growing seed business. The individual will work closely with the
European Seeds business leadership team and the Dow AgroSciences
country management to design and implement the appropriate
strategies and tactics to build a successful seed business in
the territory.
Your accountabilities

Direct sales responsibility
with distribution within the region

Develop sales plans including
providing regular inputs to forecasts
-
Develop annual sales activity
plan for self and team
o Trial seed needs
o Trials and demonstrations; Field selection
o Planting to harvesting
o Data analysis
o Promotional material needs

Leadership and direction of
the seed team responsible for creating demand and supporting
distribution
-
Develop and manage sample
plans
-
Manage the territory sales and
marketing administrator.

Develop and manage an agreed
sales and marketing budget for the territory.

Work closely with marketing,
product development and breeding to bring products to the
market which meet the needs of customers within the
territory
-
Organize Product Promotion
team to implement seed promotion plans with distribution and
farmers including demonstration trials, field
demonstrations, training meetings and sales promotion etc
-
Identify and develop resource
plans to meet growth plans
-
Develop strong collaborative
relationships with Dow AgroSciences agrochemical teams to
ensure aligned approach to distribution, identify joint
sales and promotion opportunities.

Developing and implementing
plans to introduce input and output traits to the region.
Including help create awareness and acceptance with
customers and authorities. Representing Dow AgroSciences at
seed and trait meetings and organizations.
Your skills

University education in
agronomy or similar
-
Experienced Sales skills
-
Seed industry expertise and
technical knowledge

Ability to lead people
-
Driving license
-
Fluent in Hungarian and
English, good command of another European language is an
advantage
