Job Function

Assist Regional Marketing Manager in the areas of Product Development and Sales in the Midwest.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for customer account management and support.

• Establishment and coordination of research and promotional trials for new and established crop groups.

• Evaluations of trials, variety description development for promotional purposes and recommendations for commercialization in their region.

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of the relevant vegetable markets in their region in order to accurately communicate sales forecasts, market demands and market trends within the region. 

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in an Agricultural related field, with 5-10 years sales or product development experience in a vegetable related industry and preferably a working knowledge/relationship with vegetable growers and/or packer/shippers. 

• Candidate should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, organizational ability, basic computer skills, and be an independent and self motivated worker. 

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 35%.
