Group is looking for suitable profiles for an Seed
Technologist position.
Job
responsibilities
-
Monitor
the implementation of field production plans for supply of
commercial seed.
-
Evaluate
process protocols and improve methods of seed testing with
industry standard protocols.
-
Ensure
Quality and seed processing, treatment, and packing methods.
-
Interact
with production staff and inspect assigned crops at specific
intervals at all locations, to ensure maintenance of
necessary isolations, staggering, and crossing of crops.
-
Cooperate
in collection of data, inspection of seed quality, develop
protocols in line with the company policies and global
standards.

Play
supporting role in the field testing and lab testing.
-
Work
closely with production teams to evaluate product quality,
monitor results, and sustain improvements.
-
Cooperate
with cross functions in production, seed testing, seed
processing with timely reports and implementation proposal.

Involvement in seed testing processes.
-
Provide
training to field level production staff.
-
Analyze
data and prepare summery reports to speed up processing and
packing.
Essential
qualifications
-
Ph.D. in
Seed Technology from reputed institute with 1-2 years of
seed testing experience in a seed company or public
institution. or
-
M.Sc.
(Ag). in Seed Technology with minimum 3-5 years of
experience in seed quality/Testing and / or seed production
-
Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to
work in a multidisciplinary team.
-
Analytical ability and computer knowledge.
