Sales Manager, East Asia

company focusing entirely on the breeding, production and sale
of vegetable seeds for professional cultivation. Bejo is well

The head office is located in Warmenhuizen, the Netherlands. The
current workforce is more than 650 people of whom 300 are
employed in our more than 20 companies worldwide.
For extension of our activities in East Asia we are looking for
a Technical Sales Manager, East Asia.
The candidate will be located at
our East Asian headquarters in Shanghai and will be responsible
for the sales in a number of countries in East Asia. He or she
has to be prepared to travel frequently and some years of
experience in a similar position in the Asian vegetable seed
industry is preferred. Further the applicant will be responsible
for:

Market
development and management of existing distribution
channels.

Preparation and coordination of sales forecasts.

Establishment & evaluation of product development and
commercial trials.

Organization of field days and other commercial activities.
-
All other
activities associated with this position.
The technical sales manager will
report directly to the managing director.
Qualifications:
-
At least
5 years experience in a similar position in the Asian seed
industry.

Good
general knowledge of the cultivation of vegetables.
-
Must be
able to communicate in English, knowledge of Chinese
(Mandarin) is a plus.

Must have
good interpersonal and communication skills.

Independent, resourceful and highly motivated.
-
Willingness to travel on a frequent base.
