To further our research
objectives, we have an immediate opening for a talented
Assistant Scientist/Research Associate who will be
responsible for developing treatment protocols for existing and
new crops in the Ball Controlled Growth product line.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S./M.S. degree in Biology,
Chemistry, Botany, Horticulture, or related Plant Science.
Related professional research experience desirable. This
candidate should possess the ability to acquire technical
proficiency in the use of plant growth regulators; practical
knowledge and experience with floriculture crops coupled with
attention to detail, patience and diligence; proven effective
written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as
demonstrated commitment to customer service, teamwork and
quality; ability to manage priorities and perform related tasks
in a time-sensitive environment; intermediate-level proficiency
with Excel, Access, Word and Outlook are required and the
ability to travel approximately 10% of time.
