POSITION:
Supply Chain
Professional
Ernst Benary of America is looking
for a Supply Chain Professional.
General description
Responsible for all supply chain
activities, like planning/purchasing seed and accessories,
packaging and shipping of seed, managing inventory levels, and
all administrative duties.
Reports to: Operation
Manager.
Responsibilities
-
Receive/Package and Ship
seeds.
-
Procure seeds and accessories
and manage inventory levels.
-
Preparation of all shipping
documents, like Phytos, Bill of lading, etc.)
-
Monitor seed quality.
-
Perform Physical Inventory.
-
Interact with customers and
enter orders into the system.
-
Maintain a good working
relationship with Operation Manager.
-
Maintain strong contact with
Head office in Germany.
-
Manage 1 or 2 temporary
workers.
Requirements
-
BS degree in Horticulture or a
minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a supply chain
field.
-
Computer skills.
-
Excellent communication
skills.
-
Willingness to travel.
-
Experience in managing people.
-
Ability to be flexible and
work in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be located in
the Sycamore, Illinois area.
