Field
Production Engineer
Monsanto is an global agricultural company. We apply
innovation and technology to help farmers around the world be
successful, produce healthier foods, better animal feeds and
more fiber, while also reducing agriculture's impact on our
environment. In Turkey we have a commercial office in Istanbul
and production activities in Mustafakemalpasha (70km SW of
Bursa). For our seed production activities near Bursa, we are
currently looking for a Field Production Engineer.
Job location: Mustafakemalpasha (70km SW of Bursa)
Department : Seed Supply E/A
Responsibilities
-
To develop and manage the
grower network in his/her production area.

Ensures the seed production
plant is provided with the right quality and quantity of
seed at the right time.

Close follow-up of production
in the fields. Detect, analyze and timely report eventual
problems and lessons learned.

Make proposals /
recommendations to the field production team and the
production research team for improving the effectiveness of
our production.

Obtain a six sigma green belt
to run projects for improving productivity and decreasing
cost.
Required profile
-
A Masters degree or
engineering degree in agronomy / agriculture.

Strong Results Orientation.
-
Organized way of working and
hands-on attitude.
-
Excellent communication
skills: can express opinions in a firm but diplomatic way.

Excellent in building and
mending relationships. Teamplayer.
-
Leadership potential.
-
Fluency in English is an
important plus and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
