Monsanto is seeking a
highly motivated individual to work with our team in Saskatoon,
Canada. In this role the candidate will oversee all day-to-day
operations of the research testing program, implement ESH
procedures for safe operation of research program, maintain
harvests plots and collect data accurately and in a timely
manner. The candidate will supervise full-time testing staff,
seasonal labor and field operations, monitor an annual operating
budget, and operate 20,000 yield plots per year. Additionally,
this position will oversee seed preparation/treatment and
maintenance of the plots and the candidate maintains knowledge
of technical advancements.
The successful candidate will possess a MS or BS degree in
Agronomy or related field with 3 years agricultural research
experience, or Agricultural diploma and 5+ years AG research
experience. Effective communication and team leadership skills
are essential. Must possess computer skills related to data
acquisition and analysis, a Class 1-G CDL (Saskatchewan), and
knowledge of basic statistics and experimental design
principles.
