Monsanto, an Ag industry leader creating scientific
breakthroughs around the world, seeks an innovative and
motivated scientist to join a technology team focused on the
development and application of genotyping and genetic analysis
technologies for crop improvement at our St. Louis, Missouri
location.
The successful candidate will
leverage the latest advancements in nucleic acid analysis,
automation and nanotechnology to develop the next generation of
high throughput genotyping. In this role the candidate will work
in a cross-functional matrix environment, interacting with
members of Genomics, Informatics and Engineering organizations.
The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. Degree in
molecular biology, genetics, chemistry, engineering, or related
fields and 2+ years of relevant experience. Comprehensive
working knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical
principles involved in high throughput DNA analyses and
massively parallel molecular screening as well as proven track
record of productivity are essential.
