POSITION:  Regional Development Manager, Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kazachstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan)

Nickerson-Zwaan is an international organisation, active in research, processing and marketing of vegetable seeds. With our head office in Made in the Netherlands, we also operate facilities in Tuitjenhorn (The Netherlands), Germany, UK, Poland, India, Ukraine and South Africa. For our Central Asian activities we are looking for a

REGIONAL DEVELOPEMENT MANAGER – Central Asia
(Uzbekistan, Kazachstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan)

Your challenge in this position is to further strengthen our position in the Central Asian area, and make optimal use of the available resources in the company and in the distribution. Your personal input will make the difference.

Job location

You will be located in Central Asia, preferably in Uzbekistan, but will report to the Sales Manager Eastern Europe & Central Asia based in the Netherlands.

Your tasks

  • Organising development and promotion activities in the region;

  • Direct participation in the product development and promotion of our products in the region;

  • Obtain trial data and apply this information to make clear introduction and promotion proposals, in coherence with the existing distribution.

Your profile

  • Age between 25 and 35 years;

  • Horticultural background and training preferred, clear affinity to the sector;

  • Flexible and able to grow into the position and company culture;

  • Central Asian background, also speaking Russian and English;

  • Strong driven personality and able to motivate oneself;

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to interact between distributor, dealers and growers and the Nickerson-Zwaan head office;

  • Professional reporting skills;

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office);

  • Willing to travel frequently (national and international).
