To further our research
objectives, we have an immediate opening for a talented
Assistant Scientist/Research Associate who will be
responsible for developing seedling vigor test and treatments
aimed at expanding the environmental conditions under which
seedlings will thrive.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Biology,
Chemistry, Seed Technology, Horticulture or related Plant
Science field. Three (3) years’ related professional research
experience is highly desirable; this candidate should possess
the ability to acquire technical proficiency in the use of plant
growth regulators; practical knowledge and experience with
floriculture crops coupled with attention to detail, patience
and diligence; proven effective written and interpersonal
communication skills, as well as demonstrated commitment to
customer service, teamwork and quality; ability to manage
priorities and perform related tasks in a time-sensitive
environment; intermediate-level proficiency with Excel, Access,
Word and Outlook are required.
