Area Sales
Manager, Belarus & Central Asia

the professional horticultural industry and supply chain.
Nunhems develops varieties based on a specialized and personal
approach in proximity to the main markets with breeding,
screening, sales and expert advice around the globe. With annual
sales of EUR 190 million in 2006, Nunhems is among the world’s
leading vegetable seed companies with an extensive portfolio of
28 species and some 2,500 varieties. Nunhems employs more than
1,300 people and is present in all major vegetable production
areas in the world.
To take care of our seed business in Azerbajdjan, Georgia,
Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kygyzistan, Tadjikistan, Kazakstan, Belarus,
we are seeking an Area Sales Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop
market position and market share of Nunhems crops in the
area building up long term relationships with international
(potential) big customers and importers in line with the M&S
strategy of Nunhems in to realise profitability and
partnership.
Sales
and budget
-
Plan,
review, adapt and execute the sales plan in line with
M&S strategy.

Introduce company and product to (potential) key
customers.

Formulate and negotiate with importers and customers to
realise targets and partnership relation.
-
Implement and monitor the sales budget/investments
within the area .
Marketing
-
Design and advise the business plans per country.

Develop Market Inteligence and translate the
consequences for the business plan.

Formulate and execute the promotion plan in order to
create a positive image within the area.
Area
continuity
-
Advise the Regional Sales Manager Eastern Europe
regarding the priority setting of the countries within
the area and within the existing crop assortment in line
with the M&S strategy.

Advise, inform and propose the Regional Sales Manager
Eastern Europe regarding the M&S strategy, policies and
matters within the area to support management decision.
DESIRED PROFILE
-
Bachelor/Master in business administration/agriculture with
experience in export marketing & sales;
-
Affinity
to the field of activity of Nunhems is very important;
-
High
level of social versatility; able to communicate at very
different levels.

Organized
and entrepreneurial. Able to use own initiative.Analytical.

English
and Russian language: fluent
-
International traveling is required (approx. 50% of time)
