headquartered in Salinas, California, is seeking candidates for
its Controller position.
Requirements:

CPA and/or MBA desirable.

Just some of the things you will be
doing:
-
Directing and managing all
aspects of the finance/accounting department as well as
profit and cost management principals relating to the
agriculture industry and in keeping with the goals and
objectives of the company.

Manage monthly financial
statements.
-
Present various reports and
analysis to management.
-
Plan and implement the
departmental coordination of the annual budget process and
analyzes the monthly comparisons of budget-to-actual
information.
-
Assisting in the integration
of new products, incorporating accounting practices.
-
Enhance and/or develop,
implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the
Company by way of systems that will improve the overall
operations and effectiveness of the Company.
-
Establish credibility
throughout the Company as an effective problem solver;
ability to be viewed as approachable and as a mentor to
people on financial and systems issues.

Initiate appropriate
strategies to enhance cash position; developing a reliable
cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
-
Inspire and motivate others to
perform well and reinforce with appropriate recognition to
others.
