POSITION:
Head of Sales
and Marketing, North America and Mexico
Location: Western US
As an
international, well-established seed services supplier and
producer of seed treatments and seed technologies for vegetable
and field seeds, our client is seeking an experienced Head of
Sales and Marketing for its North America and Mexico business.
This
individual will be responsible for:

Increasing the effectiveness of the sales and marketing team
by auditing existing practices and identifying training and
development needs.
- Meeting
key customers in the horticulture, sugar beet and field
crops market segments and developing detailed account plans.
-
Understanding market and environmental trends, to devise and
develop specific and effective sales and marketing tactics
to optimize products, services and revenues.

Coordinating sales and marketing operations with other
company processes
The ideal
candidate will have:
- A degree
and/or higher vocational education in agriculture or
preferably in horticulture.
- Minimum
of 10 years sales and marketing management experience
working in a leading multidisciplinary and multicultural
organization.
- Detailed
knowledge of the seed industry is essential, good knowledge
of the horticultural sector is desirable.
